DIY: Fringe Tank

So as you a probably aware, based on most of the posts you've seen from me, I frequent my local Urban Outfitters. Not always to buy stuff. I go there and look around for inspiration. Everything in that store is an inspiration to me, from the visual design of the store to the mannequins and clothes themselves. So much of the styles in there are themselves inspired by thrift stores and DIY looks. You don't have to spend a ton of money to get the same idea. The last time I was in Urban, I found a cami tank top with fringe that looked like it was hand cut. I decided I would just do it myself. It was so easy and quick, I thought I'd share it with you.

The first thing you'll need is a tank top. I found this cami at TARGET in the clearance for only $4.00. (As a side note, TARGET is extremely underrated. You can find a lot of low cost fashions there that will definitely surprise you!) Next, all you need to do is pick the height you'd like the fringe to stop and cut in strips. You can choose the width. I made mine a little bigger than I knew I wanted it to look because the fabric will often curl when its cut. Check out the video for more reference! (:
