Afternoon Daydreams
It is the first week of the summer semester and I think I might be the only person in my classes that gets out of P.J.s before coming to class. Today I wanted to mix the festival style trend of this summer into my everyday outfit. I paired a cutout dress and fringe bag with casual loafers and a vintage hat to tie it all together. It was perfect for class and coffee with a friend!

Sunny Monday
It's 40 degrees and sunny here in Cleveland, so naturally I've seen people out wearing shorts and a t-shirt and flip flops. I can't say anything though because I may or may not have shed my heavy coat and had my windows down. It's crazy how much the sunlight affects your mood. Everyone is happy today!
My slightly baggy skinny jeans and lightweight sweater kept me warm enough to enjoy the sunshine without a jacket.
Hope you all are enjoying the day! (:

Red Carpet Season
If you're anything like me, you were glued to E! for the stunning, red carpet coverage of this years award show season. I was glued to my television set in the past weekends, gushing over the gorgeous designer gowns and strategizing how I could get an opportunity to get my hands on those beautiful pieces of art or at least something like it. So in true "fashion blog" fashion, here's my favorite looks from these star studded events. Since I decided to wait and blog about all of the red carpets in one post, I'm going to highlight the top 3 looks this year.
No.3
Amy Adams
It seems like the old Hollywood look was a theme with red carpet goers this year and Amy Adams captured it beautifully.

No.2
Jessica Chastain
Old Hollywood glamour once again! Jessica's Armani Prive Oscar look was by far my favorite of hers this year.
Her red hair contrasted with the gorgeous ivory gown was stunning, and the red lipstick pulled it all together.
No.1
Amanda Seyfried
Amanda has come a long way from her days as the I-can-fit-my-whole-fist-in-my-mouth blonde Karen on Mean Girls. It certainly shows in her fantastic award show season gowns this year, bringing her in as my number one best dressed on the red carpet this year. She hit it out of the park everytime she stepped foot on the carpet and continued to surprise us each time.

Two super cute and comfy outfits to wear to class
Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to dress like you just rolled out of bed to be comfy and make it to class on time. You can look cute, be ready to go fast, and still be comfortable. Here are two super cute and comfy outfits for you to try!
Wear your hair in a high pony tail and throw on a leather jacket if it's a little chilly with this look (:
All you have to do is brush your hair out and throw on some eyeliner and you're ready to go (:

Flower Crowns!
This is my number one favorite fashion trend ever. I can't wait to wear little sundresses and flower crowns once the weather gets warmer. BUT in the meantime, I can wear it with chunky knits (: no rule agspainst bringing a little bit of spring sunshine into the cold winter lol.
All I did to make this was get a few silk flowers from the craft store, a headband from the dollar store, and some floral wire. I cut the flowers and left about an inch of stem, and wrapped a bit of wire around both the flowers and the headband until there was enough flowers to my liking.

Lazy Days
With this weather being so..blah I can find it hard to be inspired to wear something cute and I want to just throw on jeans and a t-shirt. But it is possible to throw on that pair of jeans and baggy t-shirt and still look cute and put together! I like to give the tee a little messy tuck and add a cute necklace and fun flats (or heels if you want!) to add a little flare. Wavy hair makes it a little more exciting, but a top knot or pony tail is just as affective. I wore peach lips with sort of thick eyeliner. Focusing on the make up when the outfit isn't the main focus can be fun!
